Just returned yesterday Tues 4,27,10. Wanted to say we had a very beautiful, wonderful vacation at Moon Palace in Cancun. We are looking forward to another visit within the next year.
The room was great. The pool was outstanding. The service was the best ever for any vacation you could take and the food so so YUMMY!!!
Truly a wonderful vacation.

Apart from all the fabulous amenities this resort provides I would suggest that a telephone be placed on the table so that those working at the table can access the phone easily and it should have a cord long enough so the phone can be answered when occupants are in the Jacuzzi. Nothing more annoying than having to get out of the Jacuzzi to answer the phone dripping wet.

Went to The Beach Palace for two years running, 2008 when it first re-opened after renovation and again last year 2009, both August for 10 nights.
When we first went it was wonderful, service unbelievable and entertainment on roof and in the bar were great, had a fantastic time in all. Last year we noticed a significant change, service was still good, but not as unbelievable as the previous year, had to actually get off our butts and go and find service last year, whereas first year we did not have to move from our sunbeds as staff were constantly seeing to our every need and entertainment was severly reduced in that the roof top band was only a few evening per week as opposed to every evening the prvious year.
Pool entertainment staff were ewonderful last year though and cannot praise them highly enough.
Have noticed that this year the prices have changed dramatically, charging extra for sea view (whereas free the last two years) and charging for kids 12 and up (again free last year) - too expensive for us this year, we are looking else-where for our Cancun/Mexico hit.
