What’s better than a summer getaway to a single sun-kissed destination with glorious year-round weather, wonderful beaches, and bustling nightlife? Well, that’s easy, a vacation to Los Cabos Mexico where you get the best of two towns in one trip under an environment of incomparably luxury and relaxation.
Just think of it as a holiday BOGO, if you will.
Located at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico, Los Cabos is a municipality comprised of two separate towns — the artsy town of San Jose del Cabo and the more glitzy Cabo San Lucas.
In both, you can expect exquisite mountainous views, delicious international food, pristine beaches and plenty of sunshine, which may explain why Los Cabos ranks as one of the best tourist destinations not only in Mexico, but also in the world.
The East Cape Dorado Shootout
Arguably one of the largest fishing tournaments in Southern Baja, the East Cape Dorado Shootout welcomes over 100 teams every July, each vying to catch an amazing assortment of local fish.
After the tournament, spectators are treated to dinner, live music, raffle items, and a tournament award ceremony where the winning team walks away with a brand- new, fully-loaded, pickup truck, not to mention cold-hard dinero.
Fiesta de la Música Los Cabos
If live music is your thing, one of Los Cabos’ most unique festivals is right around the corner. Whether its salsa, jazz, rock, blues, punk or traditional Mexican folkloric, you’re likely to hear whatever musical flavor you fancy on the streets of downtown San Jose del Cabo this coming June, thanks to the Fiesta de la Música Los Cabos.
Part of a huge musical celebration taking place in over 150 countries and thousands of cities and towns around the Summer solstice, the all-day extravaganza features dozens of bands and performers throughout the downtown area, as well as plenty of traditional Mexican food and drink.
